Successful trader is a profitable and disciplined trader.

A trader's success increases with gains and time (corrected for drawdown)

One who succeeds in balancing return and risk in a manner whose general performance matches, and that s/he is comfortable with his/her lifestyle aims. What makes'success' is a standard, that will probably differ from one individual to another.

Successful trader is the trader who deals stably. According to statistic, fantastic trader is trader who deals 60/40. 60% of trades are profitable, 40% unprofitable.

The successful trader, it is not anything real, nothing concrete, it is a concept, a dream, something to chase later, we are all human beings

counter question: what's a good trade?

Success for you is what you decide it to be. Can be failure to somebody else.

Still... losing money in the future can barely be seen as success. If it's not consistent, neither winning big in brief run. It's called pure luck. .

However, the bottom line: You determine what is success .

I would say trader is a person who was profitable for 5 or 10 decades.

I'd say a successful trader is someone with a positive balance in their account. And if that positive turns negative he is no longer profitable. Or am I missing something here?
