I am new to this forum now, and really to new to Forex in general but I have read several books already. I feel lost when I am sitting before my demo account looking at charts, therefore I have decided to research some training courses. To date I have spent about $200 on different e-books, and regular books. I think I could spend an additional $1000 on stuff like this and be confused. I saw Robs articles and was considering taking his training, has anybody here taken it, and if so what did they think. I would also love to hear about other training courses people have used and profited from. Thanks guys

Hi Nic. First off, welcome to FF. The guys (and ladies... it's all about the ladies... yeahhhh ) here on the forum are top notch. We got a few expert's here and God knows we have our share of amaeturs... myself included.

Watching books -- tell me ! I have a crap load.

I never took some courses to find out how to exchange. Ya just gotta love this stuff guy. The wonderful thing about trading is that there is so many opportunities to make money -- so many different ways. It's possible to exchange Currency Market, do carry trades in Currency Market, commerce equities, trade futures, bonds, notes, and whatever... it's infinite.

Ya know what my first system was? A momentum oscillator and an EMA. When the oscillator crossed below the EMA, I moved brief. When it crossed it above, I moved long. That is how I began trading. And to tell the truth, it was not robust at all... heh heh. However, God knows it really was profitable on about seven or six stocks...

So I have a mentor, correct... well I tell him about my egy. He looks at me and says, You do not have a cause... what is your cause. I was like, Huh? I don't know, I just go when it does so and brief as it does this...

He's like, Ya know, should you backtest it and it's profitable, hey, that's great, but most guys I know have a cause... but should you backtest it... then exchange it in case you feel comfortable...

The point is, do not feel overwhelmed. Keep it simple! You do not have to be clever. You do not have to have a degree. You do not have to be a financial whiz kid.

    Just keep it easy.

I think rob is one of the few people with something to market that truly tries to help new traders. Just my view.
