    DISCLAIMER: I'M NO LONGER TRADING

Without going into a lot of detail I have decided to suspend my trading action, probably permanently. I am at a point in my life in which I want to begin reduce my vulnerability to risk events like the SNB as is too good. With retirement I have to be mindful about how and what type of money management. If I really do trade it will be small and of no real importance. In addition, I see me performing some demonion for research and testing purposes.

Next steps are to integrate the Indexes (Indicies, regardless of what the multiple of Index is... I believe that you can use either, Indexes seems clumsy). They've been on the back-burner for some time, going to attempt to find that coded up before the FOMC. Get some exposure this day and possibly I'd like to see what the reaction that is larger is there. On a very different note I want to thank the people who have followed me in the last week or so and I truly value your interest in the job and the analysis. - JP

Couldn't have done it without you, enjoy the interest. Hopefully today I can be a little more thorough with the outlook and will go into more detail on how I use the scanning in my trading (since it basically functions as a cause for 2 different versions).

Break your Philips Curve... The Fed stated they're observing the strength of the dollar but it seems they're more interested in the current inflation level and the rate of usage.

Current market activity following the statement: EUR/USD into the past high although not sticking. Minor change in the total price action as traders try to weigh the announcement.

On the whole the US established pairs simply aren't committing to anything yet. Unless this can be a lag by portfolios to prevent markets, and I really don't think that is it, given that the neutral tone of this statement, I would guess we've seen all there is to this. I would watch for some gentle specialized reversion from pairs that are on the outliers of the ranges barring fundamental data that supports a pop here or there.

Getting ready for the Australian Lunch-break...

Momentum Update: AUD/USD, EUR/AUD, GBP/CHF, NZD/CHF, NZD/JPY, NZD/USD all showing pretty great momentum from pretty neutral land, so that they have some room to run. It would be more meaningful if we had been only seeing the breaks and the momentum had not grown and to be fair some of these states have persisted throughout the US semester and may be getting a little stale.

The price action for most of them are in-trend with a few of these getting a little deep on the short-term time-frames, but it does not mean they can't run further.

Following an hour messing around to no avail, I eventually contacted Gain and had been advised they don't support Investor Passwords. Kind of a bummer. I've got an old FXCM account I could throw a few bucks in however the last time I conducted my account I had a hell of a time with the background. They would just trune it and your metrics would be all wonky. Wouldn't mind running one just don't want to go through a ton of hoops just to not have it work. Open to ideas (different broker??? Just appears to be a lot of work for just the T/E)

    Watchlist Update:

Momentum has all but died off. Getting a term that is longer sell in the daily studies of the EUR/CHF. Almost triggering in the weekly. I might take a small exposure on this and see whether I can find a brief term ride back down when it does. The bullish trend has been pretty persistent, therefore if I do take it, then it is going to be a place that is small.
