I never knew this. After months of looking at RSI (told it was a top indior), I discovered tonight it was simply a quick EMA. No wonder that I never figured out the way to intigrate it. For instance, 1 ema = 21 RSI. Simply to calm down myself I assessed that the stochs, these are also MAs that are smooth. Oscillator (sp), again an EMA. MACD is a WMA. What's the point of all these indiors if all they are all MAs? Could not it be best simply to use MAs? I suppose trend, support, resistance lines are not based from MAs, I don't know if ADX (seems to not be) is based from MAs or not.
