2 Attachment(s) Former FBI director James Comey will testify within an open hearing of the Senate intelligence committee at some time after Memorial Day, the committee introduced Friday.

“The committee looks forward to obtaining testimony from your prior director on his part in the advancement of the intelligence community evaluation on Russian interference in the 20-16 US elections,” committee chairman Senator Richard Burr said in a declaration, “and I 'm hopeful that he'll clarify for the American folks current activities which have been broadly documented in the media”

Senator Mark Warner, the vice chairman of the committee, stated he hoped the testimony “will help answer a number of the questions which have arisen since director Comey was therefore abruptly dismissed by the president”.
