    Hi all,

I truly have problems in accurately placing (physically) trendlines in my charts. Tha thing swings around all over the place and finishes up at the wrong place. Am I utilizing te incorrect kind of mouse (I am useless on computers)? Anyone help ?

In case you double click on the trendline dots will show and you may drag and adjust the trend line. After you get it where you want click it again. I believe that you can also adjust the magnet sensitivity. The adjustment is below the Tools-Options-Objects menu. I have never played with this placing much. 10 is the default setting.

That's good to know. Thanks. How do you create the trendline? Also, what does the magnet sensitivity do?

    Thanks
You can modify the appearance of the fashion line from the properties section. Double clicking on the trend and getting the dots in the end to show right click and select properties. You might also do this from the objects list by choosing the clicking and trendline edit. As a side note; the check mark box labeled Ray from the properties menu controls the extension of the trendline and some other objects.

The magnet sensitivity is what attracts the ends of the fashion lines and other objects to the outer points of the candles or bars. With it try using 3 and then 17, play and see if you drag it 22, how different a trendline acts. At 17 it will jump into the end of a bar.
