Have you discussed your buddy's method with him/her ?

If you could convince him to sit through a few trades with you that might be enlightening.

I spoke with Tarun about the system and how it compares with the one that we have here as an EA... he said that he would open a number of sets at precisely the exact same time... 3 or 4 sets of buys and sells. He noticed that they were always paired / hedged. This was the real difference.

I'm not sure if there is something that we accomplish with an EA or when it had been the discretion of the time involved in a pullback that you may certainly have a feel for when watching it live.

When watching a currency pair live you can judge how fast the price rises and if it slows it is climb or fall. This may not be possible without some kind of timing component included to the EA...

    Feedback???

It wouldn't be hard to guage timing, even something as simple as placing it onto a 1-minute chart and checking the previous bar for up/down magnitude compared against a mean range. Although that wouldn't be substantially different than just taking the slope of a short MA.

However , where could we place the choice points? How fast is fast? Will that still be tomorrow or next week?

Just how steep is steep? Your right - it will change from day to day... week . Personally I'd feel better about developing a system that has been showing better possible.

    CURRENT 1.5 CHART

Nevertheless... that could be the exact element that's missing - the individual element can sense the market move relative to the way it has been preforming that afternoon.... Within an automated stadium we may have to wait until the move becomes steep. . Compared to the chart motion.

For this matter if you could do that an entirely different egy could be developed which simply puts a commerce in the path of the steep movement and closes it when the momentum of the transfer reduces - would be a killer tool for news trading.

    There I go again... Believing...

If an EA had the ability to feel the steep moves relative to the recent market movement - state anything that is gt; 50 percent more than the average slope you could program it to ONLY exchange with the market once it makes the big moves....

This chart is a 5 minute chart of recent EURUSD action... sure there are a couple head fakes but it seems like you could have done silent in the event that you could have measured the slopes and taken action on these.

This is the one step ahead and two steps back method of trading. Well - nothing like a myth buster right?

The logic behind this EA is simple... Forex moves... and it will also turn about - particularly in volatile markets that everybody else is less likely to want to trade because of the volatility.

This places a totally hedged trade so that it does not matter which path the market heads... up or down...

finally it'll reverse.... Take the profits from the profitable side... and then on the change - try to reduce the losses on the loosing side of this transaction.

    result is a net profit...
