Thread: £10 live account

  1. #1
Beginning this thread to trade USDJPY and determine where it gets me...

I will post my transactions and the fundamental rationale behind them. I really don't have a system, I have been trading for the last 4 good years. I use a combination of fundamental technical analysis (fibonacci extensions, moving average etc).

Any comments inputs will be appreciated.

My very first trade is short @78.17 - I think that the market is analyzing the BoJ to find out if they will defend the currency. My target is 77.55 at which point I believe we'll see a good leap to 79.50 place.

Closed the brief as it seems JPY would like to go up pre-maturely

Waiting for price to hit 78.15 to enter brief again.

A #10 live acount ) why not invest at #100.

Perhaps your system will bring many pips, who understands.

    Hi,

I've been there before... it seems to be working I say to myself, why not place in 1000? You then blow the account

I would like to see if I can be consistent and make this 10 into 100... I find that you are inclined to call you bad trades as twelve... if I make it public, perhaps I will be more true to myself

    Thanks for posting.

I've closed my brief and am going long @77.76 for the second... I think we are going to have small consolidation to 78.25 level. Should we breach the daily low of now @77.66 then I shall reverse the trade. Lets wait and see

I totally hate this... the resistance @77.91 is holding... somebody with more capital then I is insisting on moving short. If we don't breach the line before the 15m candle closes, I'll reverse place and go short... again!

We failed to breach the lineup @77.91... so, I have reversed position and am going short again @77.86. Lets see how that works out for me

    Hey good trading,

nothing wrong with a little account whilst tweaking a egy.

I have 4 trading accounts and if analyzing new tweaks I frequently tranfer funds to other accounts leaving a hundred or so to check with, whilst still trading others with proven procedures.

Whilst there's some actual cash involved however little it enhances disipline and concentration.

Go for it,it might well end up a million!

I would love to turn this 10 into 100 within a month. Long term... have not actually thought about it... once at 100 I will probably not take too fantastic risk and see when I can triple or quadruple the 100 in a months time frame. Since the account size grows I shall diminish the risk. After all, the purpose is to improve my trading... not to expect to turn this 10 to a million in 3 months
