First off this is DEMO for both accounts shown.... But I believe a demonion can provide some a good idea what to expect from trading reside with a broker and maybe show you any hints they may employ.

Taking a look at the image must make it clear enough as you can see I compare it side by side with another broker and I'll tell you not all of brokers will show this huge whip.

The reason that is important is to show that CitiFx Guru upon closing a market order fills the price in as 0.00000 so you've got no debate as you closed in market-- whatever the prevailing price will be.

From what I could see so much this voids whatever slippage debate you may have as well.

I'll post again if I can find that the Citi rep to react to this blatant flaw.

Eternally you may need to be pretty dumb to exchange under these circumstances particularly full well knowing that CitiFX retains another side of the transaction.

Actually this spread spike occurred on brokers. It was a real market move. If a broker did not have it, then they're an all in house bucketshop. This spike was on ECN in addition to legit market manufacturer brokers. It was a liquidity based difficulty. It all basically disappeared which is similar to another spike which occurred (with CHF again) earlier in the year.

    News is harmful

Yeah I did I am awaiting a response they don't have live chat.

I got a response from you much faster

I am curious what your thoughts are concerning why they set the price close at 0.00000 in the journal?

You have some idea? I can't think of any other broker that does this.

The rep took the opportunity to call me and explained that the tick had been poor and happened on demo and live.

He explained anyone negatively impacted by the bad tick would be made right. However, he wasn't able to answer whether the trade would have closed to my benefit that the transaction would not have been revoked.

Even though it puts my thoughts a bit at ease with this bank / broker. [CitiFx Guru ]

In talking with him about the issue I discovered what I thought to be accurate all along is that there isn't any slippage controller thru the MT4 platform as the trades move through the MT4 bridge at present market price anything that happens to be.

I am still considering them for the time being...

[size=3]In speaking with him about the problem I found what I thought to be true all along is that there isn't any slippage...
Alpari-UK gave me the same answer. I'm wondering what made this massive bad spike? A incorrect feed?
